With over nineteen years of experience in forensic engineering, Mr. Cardillo possesses specialized expertise in the analysis of structural and building envelope failures for various residential and commercial buildings. These analyses have included damage from many causes, including:
- Fires - Wind/Tornadoes - Hail - Floods - Water Intrusion - Impacts by Trees & Vehicles - Construction and Design Defects Mr. Cardillo has performed forensic engineering services following a number of well-known catastrophic events, including blizzards that occurred in the Denver Metropolitan Area in 2003, 2006 and 2021, the 2012 Waldo Canyon Fire and the 2021 Marshall Fire, the Holly and Windsor tornadoes of 2007 and 2008, and Hurricanes Ike and Gustav (2008). Clients include insurance professionals, attorneys, contractors, building owners and property managers. Mr. Cardillo has provided expert testimony and as a duly licensed Professional Engineer, has prepared plans and specifications for the repair/restoration of structural systems following damaging events with sufficient detail for permitting and construction. |
